I'm a mom, writer, and camper-in-training. I like to travel. So far in my lifetime, I've been to the following countries: Mexico, Germany, Austria, and Poland. I've also been to a number of places in the Caribbean: St. Thomas; San Juan, Puerto Rico, Grand Turk and Caicos; and the Bahamas. Poland was a half-day event and what I learned from that short stay is make sure you sign your passport before you travel or you'll be held in Poland for a while. Berlin, Germany is one of my all time favorite places to visit, and Vienna Austria is a dream-come-true vacation spot as far as sightseeing goes. For now, we are focusing on traveling in the US with the kids. Perhaps when they're older, we'll travel beyond the US. My favorite North Carolina destination is Sunset Beach. I just can't get enough of that beach, but I hope that I'll discover more beach gems in our future travels. I'm sure there are other gorgeous beaches along the North Carolina coastline.
