Root Viewer

The kids received a root viewer by Toysmith for Christmas from their grand parents. Their grand parents have always had plants growing and, if room was available, a garden at every place they have lived around the country. They also made sure that their children enjoyed helping out in the garden as they grew up. Since we are trying to do more gardening, it is never too soon to get the children involved.

The root viewer is basically three big test tubes, some dirt and some seeds. I didn’t find any instructions in the box, so I took a guess at what to do. Part of the issue was making it so the dirt would fit in the tube, which required soaking them in water. I’m not sure if not having that little bit of instruction would cause issues in a classroom setting. The process of breaking down the dirt created a bit of a mess.

Patio Garden Growbag

My parents gave me 5 Patio garden growbags last year as a gift. They got them on sale, most likely from Wally World. The bags are supposed to be reusable containers for patio gardens. In fact, it seems that they have changed the name of the product to Gardman 7500 Reusable Grow Bag. The best reason to have a reusable bag is to limit space in storage. These do fold up flat and small, if you take the dirt out that you put in for the season. Leaving them out all year is probably the downfall of the one bag I did use last season. The plastic is now brittle and if I tried to move it with the dirt in it, it will probably rip apart. Since I have 4 more bags and do plan on continuing to do patio gardening, I will try to make better use of the remaining bags.

The bags are 39″ Long x 16″ Wide x 9″ High and hold 72 quarts of soil. That was a lot of soil, that had to be put in the bag in between 2 straps that held the bag walls together. Not a big deal, but it probably isn’t very useful if you are filling the bags with a full-sized shovel to have these straps in the way. There are metal grommets for drain holes and I never noticed any over flooding of the bag. The woven green plastic is sturdy enough when holding the dirt, but the walls are not straight up and down and tend to bow outwards.

If they are willing to assure you of all your purchases then at least you have a fallback generic levitra online if something goes wrong. Joyce and Calhoun argue that significant reform is buy uk viagra “nearly impossible” in a typical organization workplace; at best, people will move forward as individual ‘points of light,’ but they will be unable to form a learning community. Finally, if nothing works, and the male wants a solution to make your life free from impotency then india tadalafil tablets this is the suitable option for you that can be helpful for you in getting back the pleasure and satisfaction which often makes him or her something to take away from the experience. As far as growing things in it, well it is a bag to hold dirt. What grows all depends on what you put in it and the sun. I tried some grow pods last year, but will make a better effort at getting some actual plants in them this year.

George’s Pancake House

If you have ever been down to a beach near the South Carolina and North Carolina border, you know there is one thing to do at least one morning during your vacation, go to a pancake house. I’m sure it is a thing elsewhere, but as far as I know, only Carolina beaches have pancake…

Quest Folding Wagon

Lisa received a Quest Folding Utility Sports Wagon from my mother as a gift a little while ago and we finally got to use it for the Sunset Beach trip. First, I wonder if Quest could make a longer name for their folding wagon. Maybe when they make the next version they will add “jumbo”…

Sport-Brella Beach Chair

Well, this would be an long-term use review of a product. We bought three Sport-Brella Beach Chairs over the last few years. We got two during our initial trip to the beach before we were married and then got another when we were expecting other people to go with us. Dicks Sporting Goods had them…

Coppertone Water Babies Sunscreen

A vacation must have for kids! I know there’s are mommy sites out there that warn against the use of commercial sunscreen for children. Well, other than buying full-body UV-protective swim shirts for the kids and then placing the kids under a tent, there really isn’t any other better defense against harmful UV rays, other than…
